E550 4-Matic shudder

I own a 2008 E550 with 4-Matic. A couple of years ago, I started noticing a shudder on low speed tight turns. I had the transfer case replaced with a remanufactured one, and the problem had disappeared. Recently, however, there is a shudder under light to moderate acceleration--usually around 20-40 mph, and at lower rpm's. Could I be looking at another transfer case replacement? The one I have has a lifetime parts and labor warranty. Could this be related to the thread linked below?

Thanks to all in advance.

that thread applys to .6 trans. Can't remember when .9's were mated with 4matics but if in fact you have a .9 you may have a transmission issue, not transfer case. I could be wrong however when is the last time you serviced either one of those components??? what happens under WOT?

I'm going to ask a question, since I'm only on my second Mercedes, and not as well versed on these cars: What do you mean by WOT? and what is the difference between a .6 and a .9?

I had the transmission flushed twice in the last 5000 miles (first one with filter the second, no filter and was at no charge) The transaxle was a rebuilt unit with full warranty installed about 25,000 miles ago.

Thank you in advance.

WOT is a standard car phrase, it means wide open throttle, basically when you floor it. Also the .6 and .9 is a shortcut in reference to the 722.6 or 722.9 transmission which is what MB calls their 5 and 7 speed transmissions. The 4matic would have had the 5 speed transmission which was the 722.6.

its the transfer case. Honestly, I find it easier to change the fluid every 20k miles, and live with the slight shudder. Its a known problem on these cars. Some have it, some never get rid of it. Mine has it as well but only on very tight turns (full lock) at low speed.

Ok, thanks for the input. Under WOT, there doesn't seem to be an issue. Smooth and still quick. Mine is the .6, a 5-speed. If it is the transfer case, it's under full warranty. I don't get a shudder at low speeds at or near full lock. I'm going to consult with my mechanic.
