New to forum amping speakers question
First off let me introduce myself. Im Alfie, ive just bought a E320 CDI. First merc although my dads had a few so have been around them for a while.
Ive just fitted a double din pioneer headunit. Everything has gone well, but im not happy with the sound. I havnt disconnected the existing amp yet, but im thinking that the speakers are going to need to be amped when i do this.
My question is, can I take the wires that go into the existing amp and extend them into a new external amp? and then just run phono leads up to the head unit. Ive lost the use of the existing sub, and im guessing im not going to get this back so I may consider putting a 10" in to help with the low/mid range.
