Coolant Visit Workshop and now car won't start
I own 2003 MB E400 CDI (w211). A day ago, on dashboard appeared message - Coolant Visit Workshop. After the message, in the interior came bad smell (not exactly like burning wires but something very similar). Engine temperature was okay - around 80-90°C. Shut down the engine, checked the coolant level - everything was okay, but still don't know, from where the smell was coming (it was more likely from outside - engine area). After some minutes, started the car and everything was okay, so I had to drive home. After some kilometers, the coolant message appeared again and the power of car was lost, but anymore that acceleration as it was before. Driving towards my house, the car instantly shut down the engine - like KILL Engine message. Started the car and drove towards the house, put the gear into Reverse to park the car. After parking, shut down the engine and tried to start it again after some minutes and nothing, engine won't start. There is no error messages on the dashboard. Starter turns but engine is not starting.

In the next morning (it was night when that happened), tried to start it again - same, it's not starting but the starter turns. When trying to start the car, the front fan is not spinning (I'm not sure if the fan should spin when it's cold outside). Checked the fuel pump, everything works. Also, checked all the relays, everything was okay. Checked everything and the source of bad smell still can't locate.
Tomorrow, I'm going to check the front fan plug, if it's okay, I don't know what to do next... Need to get a OBD-II or a STAR diagnostic, maybe there will be some error codes why the car won't start.
Maybe anyone of you had the same problem with w211?
