'03 E320 Stalling Running Rich

Here's my dilemma. After running some errands on Saturday, I did some work around the house. When I got back in the car 2 hours later, it started, but would barely idle, stumble, stall and was running very rich. I replaced the cam position sensor and it ran perfectly. One hour after, it was back to barely starting/stalling and very rich again. I put in another Cam sensor, still no better. I've cleaned the MAF. The spark plugs, crank position sensor and O2 sensors have all been replaced in the last 5000 miles. No codes at all. Any ideas on what to try next?

and no codes as in vehicle was scanned with sds or your cliche advance auto scanner? Sds will allow you to look at smooth engine running....

You can smell the gas in the exhaust and it is black. Unfortunately, the only reader I have is a generic one. The closest dealer is over two hours away from me and the closest good indy with SDS, is over an hour away. Nothing shows up on the dash either.

My bet is a faulty MAF. I also tried cleaning my MAF but it did nothing. Once I replaced it, the engine ran normally. No stalling.
