Another non start problem, please help!
This is a really confusing one (for me!) My E280 cdi was running fine, then one morning, cranks, but not a hint of starting. So I plugged in my OBD II reader which gave a p0088 code "fuel rail pressure high". But, and the odd part I think, if I clear the code and remove one of the pipes from the fuel rail making no pressure, I get the high pressure warning back! I replaced the rail with the pressure sensor on, assuming that must be the fault, but that made no difference.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Other than that you likely are for new valve.
You might want to repost it in diesel section for more exposure.
That will get it in contact with people who know something about diesels, not forum clown.
