e320CDI wheel thread.

So I've been trying to figure out what size wheels and tires I can fit on my car, I have tried to search forums however I wasn't able to find anything specific or with pictures for e320, I found plenty for e55 and others. Does anyone know of a dedicated thread for e320 wheel thread ? I am trying to find out what tires and sizes I can run on my car and would like to see members post pictures of their wheel set up on their e320's.

I decided to stay with the factory size since they most likely spent lot of time and effort to figure the best all around compromise:

There are no engine-specific wheels.
Per my observation US W211 do have 2 common sizes.
standard is 225 tire on 16" rim
sport 245 tire on 17" rim
Over the years they come with 3 or 4 design plus AMG models are totally different story.
Lot of wheels will fit those cars as fender wells are huge -giving you plenty of space for different sizes and offsets.
I drove our wagon on 18" monoblocks till tires wear out and went back to factory 17"
Most different MB wheels need custom bolts, sometimes a spacer.
