Auto Level Failure/Front Passenger suspension sits lower
Hello gents, in my search for a solution I am seeing that there must be a common issue with the auto leveling feature of this vehicle. However, I'm not seeing a fix or actual description of why this happens and a possible way to prevent it.
Would anyone know about what causes this and how to fix it?

Most likely cause is a failed air strut. With Airmatic suspension this is a common problem when the car gets older.

Air spring, level sensor, recalibrate suspension. That's the verification sequence I recommend.
If the air spring does not have a leak, it's possible front end suspension work damaged the level sensor linkage. If you replace the air spring, plan on recalibrating the suspension. Heck, if you have 100K miles, recalibrate it anyway. Not difficult if you have the proper diagnostic system.

I don't think its a leak, it looks as though it may be a bad sensor or simply needing to be recalibrate. I do not have any diagnostic equipment, I do have a 500 piece tool set and am pretty good at taking things apart and putting them back together. What is entailed for a recalibration?
