How do I disable rear fog lights?

How do I disable rear fog lights?
My rear fog lights are always on even if the light knob for rear fog light is NOT pulled. If I disable them, will the taillights be rid off as well?
PS. my pre-owner has installed new led taillights and 4 issues have been detected on dashboard.
- left tailight
- right tailight
- left rear fog light
- right rear fog light
The car is e220 cdi (2003)

I am sorry, ....... But why would you want to disable the rear fog lights instead of correcting the issue, fixing what's wrong and possibly installing the correct lights?
The rear fog light is a safety feature coming in VERY HANDY in dense fog, why disassembly a safety feature?

I am sorry, ....... But why would you want to disable the rear fog lights instead of correcting the issue, fixing what's wrong and possibly installing the correct lights?
The rear fog light is a safety feature coming in VERY HANDY in dense fog, why disassembly a safety feature?

More likely than not there are not enough resistors being used for the taillights.
I read many issues with w209 users who had the same deal because the seller of the LED taillights were not supplying enough resistor boxes to attach to the taillights.
Honestly I'd replace the aftermarket taillights with stock and not have any issues with them.
If you can take the taillights off and snap pictures of the backs someone might have the same ones here which could chime in and post if it has enough resistors or not.
Are the taillights not working or you are only getting the error messages on the dash?
