Low beam bulb / upgrade question
Good evening,
i have a 03 e320 without Xenon.
Right side low beam light is out and I was thinking to change all four bulbs for brighter version (vs. oem). Oem bulbs are very dull, did anyone recently install brighter bulbs (non xenon) and can recommend which ones to get and where?
Thank you in advance.

I really like the Osram nightbraker 65watt h7 bulb. They are a big improvement over stock.
I ran them in our CLK both high/low beams before upgrading to bi-xenons. Then I used them in just the high beam.
I have them in our high beams now on the w211. Zero issues. They are a great bulb and no fear of melting anything.
I have friends that run them in their VW's low beam for years now with zero issues.

I will try to replace all four today.
Any tips on how to?
It looks like theres very little space to stick my hand in.
Will i need to remove any parts for easier access?
Thank you all again.

Kcnyc: Your hands are going to suffer ... no easy way around that. Check the wires also: MB went through a brain fart era of cheap insulation on certain wiring systems. The insulation on my wife's '07 W211 crumbled to dust. I "painted" all the headlight wires with Liquid Tape. Good luck, Mate. Let us know how it goes.

just going to a new good quality bulb you'll have brighter light. Bulbs do dim after years and years. I replaced the low beams on an 8 year old car recently. Spent under $30 for a pair of bulbs. It was an immediate improvement.
