MB SD C4 reliable source, offline OR not?
Hi everyone 🙂
I have been reading the forum for some weeks and need some advice.
I recently bought a MB 2004 E200 kompressor 163 HP.
Starting getting white warning message on display after some weeks of driving:
1 "Service brake visit workshop"
After some more weeks I saw more messages coming up:
2 "ABS defective"
3 "ESP defective"
Assume I need to repair/replace the SBC-unit as the ten year warranty is long gone
Soo Im planning to order a Star diagnosis C4 variant from china.
Im familiar with car repairs but have never worked on a SBC brake system.
I want to be able to access as many systems as possible, and as many model years as possible.
Offline coding/programming if possible.
Is this my best buy:

I have a D630 computer already.
Is the site reliable or can I get better price from small dealers?

I assume programming is flashing new firmware and coding is more like setting different parameters?
Where do I get the recent flashfiles from?

I am fed with those clowns, but this is the first I hear DIY coding is possible?
For good C4 review go to parallel forum and seek good topic by ScrapingScrap
I hesitate to spend the money as "reliable" applied to hacked computer seems oxymoron.
