Tail light Avantgarde
Own a 2003 320 Avantgarde, I have to change both tail lights.
I believe that Avantgardes comes with Led lights as factory, so on eBay it says that for upgraded lights are not compatible with oem led tails (mine?)
Question is..
Can I put oem 2009 led tail lights?
Are they compatible?
And lastly, how do I know if my car comes with led from factory?
besides checking out the laps themselves since the previous owner changed the tails many times.. Previous owner don't know much about this car and seems that he took it to shops where they did the wrong.
I did search the forum and found many mixed answers not directly related to my case, as to no answer found.
This are the lamps I want to buy, but before I want to make sure since I am in another country and I cannot ship back.. It's a hassle.

Not 100% sure, but think I've read on these forums that OEM post facelift tail lights are plug and play for all 2003-2006 W211s, both LED and non-LED models.
I purchased these Depo brand units from eBay - they fit perfectly and look awesome with no error codes - very happy with them.

Your car comes with factory leds? is it the avantgarde?
