Talking E500 Reborn!!!!!!!

Without going into much details...

Thursday, 9 AM, E500 - stock beside the Lorinser rims.

10:30 AM, "Toying with some ideas"

11:00 AM, Out goes the stock exhausts from the manifold back. Precision cut-out on each side appearred out of nowhere.

02:00 PM, Metalitic Cats - X-Force - MF X-Force evolved!

04:00 PM, Turbine Muffler along with Nice 4.5" SS Tips.

06:30 PM, Vrroooommmm Vrooommm!

07:00 PM, A BEAST was reborn!

The last big Benzo project, we have done was the C43 and C36. They gained 23hp and 18hp respectedly. I don't think I am being overly optimistic to expect at least 20hp out of this one -- AT THE REAR WHEEL!

... Just another fun day at work!

It's downpipe back system! Basically we rebuilt the system from the 2nd bank O2S all the way to the tip.

A better question would be where are you? I have tried to ship custom fab. system in the past. It didn't go well. I would rather build any system in house onto the car itself.

He's on the West Coast, but travels frequently. Glad to see you back in the forum, TF. I don't want to be more specific, some folks have privacy concerns, hence not filling out the "Location" on their profiles.

Still sorry you got the E?

I have done the same setup on C32 dual.
I am located in Denver, and haven't had much time to post on this forum. You have better chances contacting me at ken@budsmuffler.com.

As far as looks/tips and so on. It is done per customer's taste.

All I know that with the ASP on, I couldn't even get good traction on a set of 255/18s. I am trying to convince the owner to dyno the car.

Cheers

How much did it cost? Also, its not worth posting ANY HP numbers until you either have had it on the dyno before and after or the exhaust mfg posts the numbers they have gotten with the same setup.

Anything else is speculation.

I believe everyone here understand that anything that's not DYNO'd or hard proven'd is speculation.

So I SPECULATE the power gain is at least 20hp at the rear wheel. The SPECULATION is based on my experience and DYNO sheet from the past AMGs, Benzos I have done. Sorry if I mislead anyone

This perticular project costed $1300. Each system is obviouly custom depending the goal of the client.

It looks NICE! Would it be possible to post a sound clip of the new exhaust?
