2007 E350 4matic Sports Pkg freshly washed

Said a few weeks back when I bought the car that I will take a few pictures of it to upload. I was able to spend a few hours yesterday cleaning her - but it got too dark at the end of the day for proper pictures. So here are a few from the parking lot at work from this morning

That's a really pretty one. Well done finding it!

Mine is also a 2007 E350 with the sports package and P1 and P2. It doesn't have the panorama roof though. I've got the same wheels but the 2 tone interior, where the roof liner, dashboard, and carpets are all black but the seats and door panels are a very light tan. Mine is also the "avant garde" version, so the wood trim is a charcoal color.

From the 2007 brochure I would have thought that all the sports package cars had two tone...but I guess I'm wrong.

Here's a copy of that sales brochure from 2007.

Thanks guys! It did take me approximately 6 months of weekly checking car websites to find it. It was either this or a similar condition 02-03 e39 530i sports package, but this car definitely feels several notches above the e39 in terms of luxury, amenities and power (handling, not so much lol).

Thankfully the used car dealer wasn't aware of how much different options add to the value of the car and the price was very low compared to similar cars I had seen in the past. In fact it was so low and the car so perfect, that I thought I was getting screwed somewhere on the deal.

However my very experienced indie mechanic did a thorough inspection and I did my own 100 point Popular Mechanics Used Car Checklist (which by the way is the best used car checklist I have ever seen), and all was good. So i in the span of about a week from being posted, I ended up buying the car and was even able to lower the price. I guess only time will tell...

As far as the two tone is concerned, what you are referring to is regarding the leather upholstery I believe. My car comes with MB Tex and I am very happy about it. As you can see it has withstood the test of time rather well. I would not be so excited if this was a w212 as the quality of MB Tex seems to have dropped since then (several friends with W212 and W204 MB tex have been having rips, cracks, etc.).

Enjoy your car man. There is nothing like driving to a destination in something that makes you smile. Many people are not in that situation.

The e39 was the first German brand style I liked. Funny thing is I have yet to own a BMW.

Nothing wrong with MB Tex, at least the older stuff I know. I drove a '98 E300 Turbodiesel for ten years, and at the end of that time the MB Tex in that thing still looked brand new!

Thanks guys!

I agree - I really love leather interiors, but when it comes to owning an older model used one, I would prefer MB Tex.

LOL 2MERCKS i was listening to Outcast in the car on the way to work today

Congrats, very nice!

Brought a smile to my face as it reminded me of the first day I drove mine. It is also white but not a 4Matic. It's a 2008 with Sport and Avant Garde package. Wodeshed, I don't know if you are referring to two-tone on the seats, or the entire interior. My dash is a different color than the upholstery and my interior color shows 2 different specifications:
140A
MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO

148A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO - GRAY

A little update - being an avid modder of cars I was very excited to see what can be done with my new car. However after doing tons of research I came with - not very damn much at all.

There is so little engine support for our platform and so few performance gains to be had for so much money, it is quite literally pointless. I have debadged, will add an AMG style trunk spoiler and will call it a day.

Very cool, I was just down there about a month ago. North of Baltimore here.

But yeah, Mercedes designed these platforms to garner exactly as much power as they were intending to get. It's often recommended here that if you want more power, it'd be cheaper to sell the 6cyl and buy an 8 than modify the 6. I love my car and the power is legitimately more than I need. I may want more, but I have more than I need.

I've also debadged because I like the clean look, and there was a tiny rusty stain below the E badge. I cleaned the headlights and used Lamin-X over top, and that's about it. I may pop some new wheels on this summer, but finding fitting wheels is another labor of exhaustion for these cars.

Funny you mention the wheels, because I was just thinking the other day I might switch to 17's. Reason why I want to switch is because the the sports package 18's tend to bend like it's nobody's business and the 10 spokes are a major pain in the *** to clean.

I do however love the look of 18's on such a big car, and still want to retain a sporty look. Maybe if I had the AMG package wheels, or nice 17" monoblocks it would be better. I haven't really seen many options that do not cost major $$$ as options.

Hey. Mine has the interior as pictured on the left in that excerpt from the 2007 brochure. Seats and door inserts are that very light tan while steering wheel, dash, carpets, and even headliner are jet black. Here's a pic from the online listing when I bought it years back...

My data card specifies the following:

732
WOOD VERSION,BIRD'S EYE MAPLE BLACK/ANTHRACITE

820A
AMARETTA/LEATHER/NAPPA/SEMI-ANILINE
825A
AMARETTA/LEATHER/NAPPA/SEMI-ANILINE - BEIGE

952
SPORTS PACKAGE
954
EQUIPMENT PACKAGE FOR AVANTGARDE VEHICLES
