confirmed - no more free maintenance
Autospies have confirmed that MB is dropping the free maintenance in 2005. they got pics of brochure's to be distributed in dealers.

so all that FSS software to detect the operating conditions of the vehicle and determine the oil change interval is out the window? in favor of a flat 13K mile interval? unreal.
alot of people are going to lease the car for 3 years, and maybe do one oil change. not good.

As long as the warranty covers all the crap that happens with these uber-electrical systems, I'm fine with it. Free service only saves maybe $200 a year. They will save a ton by getting rid of it, as I think it's over the top anyway. Service should not be included in the price of a car, imo.
