Steering wheel swap- 2006 E350

Have searched on this topic but could not find a definite answer.

Can an steering wheel from a facelift 2007-2009 E OR 2006-2008 CLS fit into a 2006 W211?

I know I would need the complete wheel and airbag as the design is completely different... Concerned about functionality of buttons and any airbags errors.

Attached picture is the wheel I want. Same design in both facelift w211 and early CLS.

Any feedback?

Thanks

So I do have a 805 build code... therefore, should be plug and play with my existing clock spring?

For those who want to complete this, it does work. The replacement air bag and steering wheel was from a 2007 E350. BUT you will need a steering wheel control unit. Most used steering wheels do not come with it. As stated earlier mine is 805 production so my existing clock spring did work. I believe the earlier years require more work.
