"Unplugged Connector - Please Help"

"Unplugged Connector - Please Help"
So I had to replace my parking brake foot pedal because the cable broke.

When I removed the cover panel below the steering wheel one of the connectors was not plugged to anything (circled in red).

Getting ready to button everything back up and would really like to know where this plug is supposed to connect to - could it be dedicated for an option I don't have and is meant to be left loose?

Anyone have any ideas - thanks for helping.
