how to remove a stuck CD in the Command Unit CD player?
Hi there,
Does anyone know how to remove a stuck CD in the Command Unit CD player?
My 2006 MB E350 is a basic car. It does not have the Navigation option. I used the only CD player (for non-existent Navigation?) to listen to my music CDs.
Last week the CD player failed. It does not want to eject the CD stuck in it.
It makes an annoying sound the moment I enter the car.
I attached a 30 second sound clip (.mp3 format) for your review. Please make sure that your speakers are turned “on.”
Is there any way or trick to remove the stuck CD in the Command CD player in the Command Unit?

Pull CDC, open outer cover and carefully inspect internal mechanism. Removal:
+ attachment in addition, see attached bulletin. Image lists compatible part #s if replacement needed.

I have the same situation but it doesn't make any noise on mine at all. I just left it in there and got the AUX cord lol But mine is stuck in the 6 cd changer below the screen. Top one works fine.
Couldn't figure out how to remove it, im sure i would have to take it all out, seen videos, but im not going to spend 2 3 hours to get it out when im blasting the aux.
Most likely you're going to have to take entire unit out and try to sneak it out from back of it.
