The yellow letters on black plate is custom plates (extra $$$) in California and are replicas of 1960's plates.
I still own white reflection plates with sun on the top, that were given in 1980's, but now, moving to Las Vegas ordered plates with Las Vegas logo and my name on them.
lot of fun for not that much money.

Yea. Its like $50 a year for those. Heard it takes about 2 months to get delivered, if available.

I seen lot of ppl with their names on it, or stupid names on Hondas lol i dont want to get my name or family name on there. I want something a little creative.

My friend suggested to get BIHHH lol that one is available but i dont think ima get that.

Or they have this streak, DOABA1 thru DOABA4...i might get the #5 to join the list. (Its the region we are from)

Here is mine, took 5 months to get it as the DMV says these plates have become very popular and there is a backlog.

Oh, good, ole California.
Took NV 4 weeks to deliver my plates here. Bad news with this design I can only have 5 letters.
But NV learns from CA. To get the plates I had to pay $1 prison fee and couple other junks.

5 months? 2 of my friends got them in 2 months, yet says DMV tells them it will take somewhere 2-3 months. But received it under 3 months.

Yea i always wondered where do they make them plates, came to know not too long ago, prisoners do :O

All i need now is some coils to drop my ride and that custom plate, which i have no idea what i want to get

haha sorry missed it, i'm in class atm lol

the W211 alone wasnt available? It looks a little too compacted with 7 letters to me. Otherwise it's not bad but I would've loved it if it was just W211 though.

My friend has access to the thing and he can check if the plate i want is available or taken.

I saw a Tesla today with plate saying KW FUN (killo-watt fun). Thought that was kinda funny and pretty creative.

Not sure, as I always wanted some kind of Mercedes or Benz to be part of it, so not only the insiders could figure it out.

True, i get your point. But those people who dont know W211, prolly dont own these german cars, prolly still wont know what W211 stands for lol neither did i till i bought this one. When i would do google searches, i always came across W211 labeled in the title or text, i ignored it for awhile and kinda picked up its a code name for this 03-09 year model but truly learned its the chassis number lol

Maybe back then i wasn't too much into cars as i am rn. Well my focus has been on school and work mostly and didn't even know it had a facelift in 07, shouldve bought the facelift model :/ i regret it now lol

THX.

If you change your mind and want different letters, you will indeed start all over again. The plate that you have will have to be returned to DMV, at that time you will get the one with the new letters. each and every time you will pay Dollars.

You are correct, I stand corrected. You can keep the personalized plates, sorry.

Not quite. If you report it lost and apply for replacement - you will be charged for it.
I was getting away with returning 1 plate only.

I'll ask my friend bout that tho. He has plenty in his garage. And my cousin kept his custom plate, the white and blue, the regular one and ordered a new one.

99% of custom plates I see are dumb as ****. I also prefer to have something that's not easy to remember if I'm out hot rodding around.

The black plates only look good on black cars.

Unless I am part of the 1%, you just called me/my plate dumb as ****

THANK YOU!

Same goes for black rims on white cars. No, ........ wait, ...... let me take that back, that would be 100% instead of 99%
