try to slowly assemble your key when u take it apart. Once when i put it back together, something from inside would get dislocated and the light won't blink but worked in ignition.

I assembled it back very slowly and carefully...then i got it working and later, a piece broke from the chip and it's dead. RIP. lol Now i have to key this bihhh :/ pretty sad

I'm no expert but maybe u can check with the dealer and first see if they can find out what's wrong with it if it can be fixed.

It's annoying that i always have to key it but i had locksmith make a key, dumb idea, but it was 200 bucks cheaper than dealers lol **** died in 6 months...i got it working n then i broke one little piece on it and it's completely dead.

But if it works in ignition without any porblem, it could mean something from the chip is dislocated.

Did it stopped working after u changed the batteries? Or did it stopped working and u thought it was the batteries and u went ahead and...maybe touched/broke something?

Ahhh, does it has a lot of scratches? If do, then its been dropped enough times and they tend to stop working and i believe there is no fix...?

My dad took my car once, left keys in his pockets and car alarm went off, no idea why but figured they were in the washing machine lol From then, not a single button works but ignition is still running from that key. idk how it still works lol

Yours is a long term issue, possible something is broken, damaged parts or god knows what the previous owner did. Getting a new key is the solution for you i guess. Dealer asked me for $400-450 for new one. Good luck on the key...
