Disassember shift knob

Does anyone know how to disassembe the shift knob and attach the leather boot? Theres a plastic piece under the cap that needs to come off to attach to the leather. Refer to the attached pic.

Thanks konigstiger. That tutorial mentions how to disassemble from the shifter console. Im trying to know how to separate/ attach the shift boot (leather piece) to the shift knob since there is a plastic piece that Im not sure how to take off. Refer to the pic attached in my original post.

Sorry, misunderstood MB OEM replacement is sold with leather attached.

hi, did u figure out how to separate the leather from knob? my leather is torned and am interested in replacing the leather only. tks!!
