Rubber Window Seals of 2016 GLE 350 Faded and stained. Normal?

My car is seven months old and the black rubber around the windows is already looking faded and stained...is this normal? I am still under warranty obviously...so should they replace it for me for free? Is this a normal thing with MB. With such a hefty price and being in the luxury car category I would expect better from them. i am very disappointed

Do you keep it garaged?

My 2007 E63 doesn't have any issues with fading or staining.

edit: Try asking here. It's the GL section. https://mbworld.org/forums/gl-class-x166-173/

This section is only for E-Class cars so you may get better responses there.

Should be covered under factory warranty, rather than replacement they will most likely apply anti-friction agent (part 0009890367).
