722.9 Transmission case issue

I finished working on my transmission and when tried to put that case back it leaves a 2- 3 mm gap so i can't closeup the transmission and install it in the car.
I checked all inside, disassemble everything, reassemble, put the transmission case back again, same problem... the gap is there.
Repeated all of the above like 15 times with the same result...
Now, all I need is the biggest cannon in the world to transform it into dust and smoke, because this is ridiculous.

2005 E320 Sedan
I assume you replaced the conductor plate and connector. I did the same thing with my 2005 E320. I am a novis mechanic and did this by myself. When I reassembled mine it was a pain with one person. Check the conductor plate and make sure it is snapped on correct. Get two people to do the job. The plastic cover over the solenoids barly snap on. Maybe install old conductor plate and make sure the new one is fitting the same as old. Good luck
