Radio Problem Buttons Not Working

The command unit i have is 1 cd player and 1 tape deck.
The radio works however the buttons don't work on the command unit.
I can control radio from steering wheel.
I stupidly put a cd in to see if cd player works and it does but i cannot eject the cd because the buttons are not working on command unit.
I tried removing the fuses. I left it out over night and put it back in the morning but sstill have the same problem.
When i do remove the fuse and put it back in when I put the keys in the radio and cd player is off. When i press the power button on the command unit it turn on and starts playing but when i press the power button to turn off it won;t turn off because the button stops working.
I also have tried disconnecting both batteries and no luck
