Has anyone bought one of these Dell 630 HDD with loaded Xentrey/Das/WIS?

I have one questions: I have a multiplexer STAR C3; Is the HDD loaded with operating system as well? In other words, when I plug in the HDD, would it boot the laptop?

Yes they are preloaded with the OS(XP) to work with a specific model of Laptop usually the Dell 630.
