2004 Mercedes E320 Power Problem
I have a 2004 E320 Mercedes that the engine is shutting down when stopped (or braking). I have the A/C or Heater turned on a high speed; radio is also on when this happens. I believe this could have a related issue with the alternator since the dash lights and headlights pulse when the car is turned on. Anyone have an idea if this could be as simple as getting a new alternator or something more extensive? Trying to get a couple more years of use out of this car before getting something newer.

Need to have battery and charging system tested. Pulsing head/interior lights is classic symptom of dying battery, alternator or voltage regulator. May be all 3.
