2008 E350
2008 E350 Head Unit replacement
Looking for any recommendations. Would like to find one that will allow me to keep us of hand controls and has an android os where I could use Waze and possibly mirror my iPhone? Will I need the fiber optic converter or whatever? I've been trying to read forums but am justly getting more confused. Also, as an amateur, am I going to be able to install this?

Ask your questions in there.. I'm sure most of what you are wondering is either covered or the people that have done the install can point you in a direction to go.
Have you ever installed any aftermarket radio before? I would say a radio install and corresponding work is probably on a scale of about a 2-3 out of 10 to me... but I don't find that stuff hard. If you've never done any of that before it might be out of your comfort zone.

If you dig through that thread, somewhere you'll see that you can install the android headunit alone and have basic 4 channel output.
Ideally, you'll want to install this as well to retain all the stock speakers without having to utilize an aftermarket amplifier.
