I have not checked on my 211 (haven't changed oil yet) but I think it is the same as for my 99 CLK320. For the CLK, I went to Pepboys and found one for less than $10. I have the same opinion of Pepboys but it fits and it works. You have to find it; they do not know it fits. They have a variety so count the sides, measure the width and I think you can find it there.

I have been using a rubber strap wrench from Sears that cost $10. It is a little wimpy for the job but it does work. Griot's Garage has a Facom oil filter strap wrench for $34.95 if you want the one that the F1 mechanics use

I recently picked up at Wal-Mart a plastic orange "end cap type" oil filter wrench called "6 Wrenches in 1." It fits over the black plastic engine oil filter element holder very nicely. I did not know if it would fit when I bought it, but I figured it was worth risking the $6 to buy it. I haven't actually changed the filter with this tool, but I do not anticipate any difficulties.
