06 W211 240k miles Cam/Crank Errors

A few weeks ago got a bad crank shaft sensor CEL, While I was waiting for that sensor to come in, I got a Cam position sensor CEL. I replaced the crank sensor but the cam sensor had not come in yet. The car went on a 700 mile trip with no issues. Within a couple days started getting misfire codes. My wife was driving the car so sight unseen i ordered new plugs and a couple coils. When I get to the car to work on it, I notice a lose plug at the MAF. I must have hit it when doing the Crank sensor. I put it back, changed the plugs and still had one misfire. I replaced the coil on that one and these errors are all gone. Now I am getting Crank and cam errors on both banks both sensors. I went to replace the cam sensor that finally showed up an realized there are 4 of them. SO I checked and I get the same resistance on all 4, switched them around and no change. I ordered the magnets and replaced them today as well as a fresh oil change. Almost immediately the P0016 and P0017 come back on bank 1 sensors A & B
The car runs fine, no issues other than these CELs, Ive not take it out yet, but Im pretty sure the codes will come back on bank 2 as well. Seems like everything points to the these balancing shafts Ive read about. With the car running fine shoud i just wait it out or look at making this repair?
