connecting samsung note 4 Zto Merced E500class 2006
I am trying to install my cell phone into my COMAND system so that I can use mercedes buttons and telephone features. After pressing and holding the "telephone" button on the center console the screen reads "telephone not installed" I am at a loss as what to do next

You've got to pair phone's BT with car's center console puck by pushing the puck's bottom with "Bluetooth" on it, to pick up phone's BT signal.
Once BT signal is detected, you'll be prompted to enter password which is "MBUSA." A few seconds later, system will ask if you want to add contacts, and if you say "Yes" it will download your contacts so that COMAND could store it.

2005 and 2006 were prewired by factory for BT. If your car is outside those two years, then you need to get car wired, which is no simple task. There is a gentleman in Southern California who is an expert on all this who installs, sells and can ship products. He's Keith Valentine and his telephone number is 714.746.5930. He's the one who installed my BT. He also sells on eBay.
