W211 Windshield Differences?

Hi, I'm cross-posting from peach parts since I'm trying to get you guys' e-class expertise...

I need to have my windshield replaced and the glass company says they quoted me the wrong (and cheaper) glass the first time. They quoted me originally 211 670 11 01, which they say is for a panoramic roof. I don’t have a pano roof…they want to instead use 211 670 01 00. This supposedly tracks to my VIN.

Does anyone know what the difference in between these two? Know it’s a moonshot question…I can’t see much difference from pictures. Maybe the pano is missing the tint at the top of the pane?
thanks!

Excellent, thanks for the quick reply. So presumably the 2116701101 part also 'fits' the rain sensor as those are on all W211s? Sounds like it may just add IR filtering

VIN is
WBDUF26J25A741388

Thanks in advance if you run the VIN...I really miss the free access to the MB parts system

I've got a 2005 E320 with pano roof and I would like to get the infrared reflecting windshield. I tried looking it up online and found part number 2116701801 listed as "heat reflecting" but it's been discontinued. Assuming that 2116701101 would be the replacement PN correct? My VIN is WDBUF65J55A647174. Thanks so much!!

EPC shows only heat reflecting windshield for 211 pano (413) is 2116701101 & 2116701801. Check with MB Direct showing 1101 as available, 1801 discontinued. MBDirectParts.com 6701 TELLURIDE DR LINCOLN, NE 68521 402-479-7587
