2005 E320 CDI, high idle issue.

Hi, I'm contending with a peculiar issue lately that has me puzzled. The engine idle will mysteriously throttle up to 760 rpms & hold there occasionally for no apparent reason. It's usual idle range is 680-720 rpms. I thought perhaps it was my throttle position sensor (gas pedal) but after several monitoring sessions of it with DAS, it would seem pressure control valve is only component consistently returning out of spec values. I haven't replaced that yet because no DTCs are being stored on a Quick Test & it's mostly just an annoyance at this point but wondering if anybody else has any ideas on what might be causing this. Thank-you in advance for any & all guidance, suggestions, or recommendations you might have regarding this issue.

I have the same problem, however car shakes when idling and sounds terrible. Did you ever find an answer?
All injectors indicate normal, leaning towards carbon build up but not sure.
Thanks
