E220 CDI Loss of power ?? Limp mode??
Hi,
This is my first post on this forum, so you will have to excuse me if i posted it in the wrong thread or something. So, lately after aprox. 40m of driving i start losing power(it does not always happend, sometimes i can drive for 2-5 hours without problems). Even putting the pedal to the floor it accelerates wores than a 50cc moped.... When in natural or park i can rev it like normal. And when i turn off the car and back on the problem is gone for everything to 5m to the end of the trip. There is no warning lamps in the display and i have not gotten my hands on a obd scanner yet so i dont know if there are any error codes. Also my "glow lamp" is always turned on, i dont know if this has anything to do with the power loss... This is everything i remember know. Feel free to ask any questions. All answers are appreciated and thanks in advance

Sounds like limp-mode, had pretty much the same issue a while ago, the car could suddenly set itself in this mode without any warning- extremely annoying and dangerous. In my case I found a code via the OBD reader which said "turbo underboost", checked the turbocompartments and found a whole in the upper turbohose. Replaced the part it all got solved .
