Front Lower Control Arm Bushing
I changed the air ride suspension in the rear after I got the car. I took it to get aligned and they brought me out to the shop floor to show me the bushing that connects the lower control arm to the shock is blown. The shock is actually resting on the control arm. They told me to get a new control arm, but I was wondering if that bushing could be pressed out and a new one pressed in. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, the bushing can be pressed out and a new one pressed in. Check with the dealer as it may no longer be available. Always order by VIN due to production line changes. The attached shows for a 2005 E55. Be sure to put car info in your signature; makes it easier to assist.
The cost of an entirely new aftermarket control arm is not much (~$100) and ensures you have a new inner bushing plus new ball joints.

Thanks,
It probably would be better to replace the whole assembly since it isn't that much. I'll update my sig to include the new daily. It's a 2004 E500.
