I pulled out one of the front speakers with the intention of replacing the whole thing with a JBL GTO629 6.5" 2-Way GTO Series Coaxial Car Speaker set I got a deal on.
Well the JBL's had practically NO bass, but really improved the highs, so I pull the tweeters off the two way speakers, made a mount with plumbers tape and mounted them in front of
the original 6.5 doors speakers, turned up a little to face you and WOW what a difference.
