Rubber jack point fell off!

Hey, everyone. Here's a stupid one for you...

One of my side jacking pads has fallen off. It's on the passenger's side rear. I've also now noticed that the front central pad is missing as well.

I've tried replacing that side pad with the part from Pelican Parts, but the central peg doesn't seem to gain purchase. I kinda sorta got it to hold and I left it at that but now I see that it's missing again. Before I go to replace again I thought I'd ask for some advice on whether I'm missing something here. The frame where the pad attaches is in great shape...there's no corrosion there; just a round hole.

Have any of you got experience in replacing these? Am I missing another part of some kind?

If you have not already done so try this. Unscrew/remove center rivet, push the new jack pad into the body until it snaps into place and is flush then install the rivet by screwing or using a soft-faced hammer. Image shows breakdown of pad.
