Rear SAM Dead After Installation of LED License Plate Bulbs??

Rear SAM Dead After Installation of LED License Plate Bulbs??
Hi everyone,
Just a few days ago I installed LED license plate bulbs on my 09 E350 4MATIC. For about 2 days the lights worked with no issues. Suddenly today, I'm getting messages that my Third Brake Light, Right License Plate Light and Left License Plate Light are all out. I immediately took the LED lights out and swapped them with the stock ones, and nothing works still.
I hooked up STAR and tried actuating the Third Brake Light.........no dice. I tried clearing all the codes that I got in the Rear SAM.......no dice.
Does anyone know what this could be?
I'm honestly shocked that some simple LED license plate bulbs would create such an issue.
