Hi . Just ordered a 2005 e320 cdi, got $1335 off list. Order had to be changed as no straight sunroof anymore. need to get sun roof pacakge,Am I making a mistake because of seemly poor QC/ ? car is a rocket ship. / Brill silver, ash, heated seats, sunroof package (ugh) , logic 7 sound system, July delivery

 

Did you end up getting that silver car on the lot at New Country?? I drove it and you're right it is very fast. Curious, are you leasing or buying and if leasing, what kind of deal did they quote you if you don't mind me asking?? Also, did you consider the E320 4Matic??

 

yes drove the silver car. I'm not leasing at this point, what bothers me is the a/c on the silver car was not working.

 

cdi is very fast, not crazy about e320 gas car, ifn fact I was looking at e500. the cdi
feels faster, even though it not 0-60 6.8 sec e500 about 5.8.. but cdi snaps you head back with its acceration.. I ordered car, did not want the other car. The deal fell through. wrong intrerior, had nav, and appearance group on that ca for me

 

Are you concerned at all about not having AWD? I'm coming from an Audi with Quattro so I'm really trying to weigh the security of the 4Matic with the 35 mpg of the CDI. Tough decision.

 

performance on e320 gas car is not great,
I think 4 matic is slower.
