W211 E CLASS E500 2002 HEAD UNIT ISSUE PLEASE HELP
Please can anybody help I spoke to Mercedes and they have said there no radio code for my head unit so what do the 6 lines mean on the screen?
I Unplugged the head unit and when i plugged it back the 6 lines came up on the screen and dont work

when I press any buttons nothing changes on the screen

So maybe the forum should be changed to 2002 - 2009
That's very interesting................is your vehicle the 2002 body style or the changed body style starting with the 2003 models? I still like the body style of the 2002 CLK coupe and almost bought one until my wife said no two door vehicle, so got a used 2003 E500 in year 2005. Maybe this forum is incorrect by showing the W211s E series vehicles are years 2003 - 2009?

He's in Europe. It's a 2003 MY car going by the pic.
They do this stupid **** over there where they think a 2003 MY is actually a 2002 because of the year it was built. Of course these new people never fill out their profile information so you don't know where they're from.

Your car is a 2003 so refer to it as such on here. The differences between 2002 and 2003 models are huge. Build date and the model year of the car aren't the same thing. If you insist on your car being a 2002 go post in the W210 sections and see what people say.
FWIW, the W210 wagon (S210) was carried over until 2003. You don't have a wagon so that's just a bit of info for you.
