When I used diesel purge, I removed the fuel pump fuse from the trunk, set up a cleaning system with a efi fuel pump to pump the diesel purge from a jar. I ran the outlet from the pump to the inlet of the fuel filter and also ran the return line to the tank into the glass jar as well so it was a closed circuit. I must say this worked very well for me because I went from heavy smoking on acceleration to no smoke, well just a puff when I start accelerating. Hope this helps.
