2003 Engine Swapped E240 for sale.
Dear all,
I have a 2003 UK model E240 in sight which is up for sale. The only problem is that its engine has been swapped after the original one seized up. Are there any issues about the swapped engine which I should be looking into before buying it. Please elaborate. Thanks and a happy new year to you all.

If it is the same engine, there should be no issues as long as they did it properly, the car electronics don't care if the original engine is in as long as it is the same. Transmission is a different story, but engine has no built in ecu's.

Are you in the US like your location shows? If so, run. Early W211 cars are a dime a doze, no reason to buy a swapped one.
