how to adjust tailgate latch on 1999 e320
I need some help in locating information on adjusting the tailgate latch on my 1999 e320 all wheel drive wagon.
The latch is beginning to catch to where its almost impossible to open it from the outside. When it does get stuck I can usually open it from the inside providing I have access to the rear storage area -- we're doing long road trip so the car is typically packed full.

The lower part has adjustment slots on it.
Usually that is try-by-error process as you can't see the locks when it is latching so stay cool and be patient.
Suppose you can lock yourself inside and then you will have better view, but I never tired that.
