just curious if its even doable to retrofit the keyless go after the fact and if it even makes sense cost wise?

I would say that anything can be done for the right amount of money! Now, I would say that most dealers will not even touch that project, so the sensible answer will be NO!!

The Keyless Go system is so complex, I'd be surprised if you even found somebody willing to give you an estimate, let alone do the job. You don't want Keyless Go anyways, it's not a very reliable system.

I've never had a problem with keyless go - 10K miles to date.

Glad I spend the rediculous and unnecessary amount of 1K on it.
