Makeover ideas for my 2006 E500
Hey MBWorld. New to the site, and I am glad I found it before I just started to buy parts. Long story short, I financed my car awhile back for my cousin & he no longer wanted to make payments (he almost f***ed my credit). So naturally I took the car for myself & caught up with the payments. And over time I learn to love the car...SO VERY MUCH. The loan is about paid off, and I am looking for advice & ideas on where to begin with fixing her up. Besides the regular oil change & check up, nothing really has been done to her. I want to get her looking good & feeling like a brand new car off the lot. Please, skip the sarcasm of "you will never have the car feel like its brand new off the lot BS". The real "wrenches" on the site are the ones I am asking help from. I doubt my cousin showed any TLC to the car, the Interior says it all. I would like to get her a body kit & rims after it is all said & done.
Right now though, I am looking more on the vehicle performance & replacement part? The last mechanic I had look at it told me all major components are looking good (engine, trans., etc.). So i figured I can start with basics like & brand new battery, performance spark plugs & a new Wire Set. Someone said I should drop new fuel line & brakes w/ rotors (which I was already shopping for brakes). And someone else said double tap on electricals? I am currently in Germany for the time being, so obviously I want to get everything done while I am here since it will be cheaper than it would in the states. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures right now. My job has me bouncing around right now, so the car is being stored in Germany until I return. I'll update the profile once I get back. Its just a Plain Jane right now. The sucking thing is, Germany is really strict on Tinted Windows & I had to peel off my tint from the states. That sucked. And she's past 120k on mileage
