Painting insides of headlight housing black? Pics?
I have been considering doing when when I go to put new lenses in my headlamps. I have seen pictures of all black ones and do not care for them as it just looks cheap and tacky.
Has anyone painted portions or their assembles? I'd like to see some pictures so see if there is a way to make it improve the looks of the car.

Painting the buckets will not affect the performance of the lighting, so long as you don't mess with the projector bowls. IMHO, the buckets are so huge that depending on the color you go with it might end up looking like 2 huge holes - especially if you go a dark color and your car is a light color. If you're going to try it, it might be best to go with a color similar to the car's exterior.
If you're looking to do something unique, check out the retrofit source - you can have the projector lenses custom etched for quite a reasonable price.
