Mercedes E500 wagon
W211 abs, esp check engine light!

hello! I’m Alex and I’m owning a Mercedes E500 Wagon. Car it’s great and i have it now for 2 years. Long story short, last week my wife called me that Abs,Esp and check engine light came on saying visit workshop. Took the car to a local shop they diagnosed the car and told me left rear speed sensor. They’ve replaced the sensor but ESP,ABS AND CHECK ENGINE STILL ON! I’m a little frustrated cause I don’t know where to look for the problem. I’m reading all over google and seeing post about battery could be the problem, bearing on that wheel or abs pump. Now im thinking how could be the abs pump, when it’s showing error just on that wheel?!
Could you guys help me out?
Thanks

Typical symptoms of low battery (can be caused by failing alternator). Best advice I can give you: If you don't want to be guessing at the problem, get it diagnosed with STAR-DAD diagnostic scanner. Should be around $100 at the dealer.

I had the car in shop for diagnostic. I don’t know what they used. You’re saying that could be the battery?

It could be the battery or it could be the alternator. Where did you get the diagnostic done? Did they use Mercedes STAR-DAS?

i knew that battery it’s good, so i have checked the wires to left rear wheel. Wires were fine, I continued with voltage test on abs wire, all good! I have Foxwell nt630 pro diagnostic , hookup the obd and showing no value for rear left. Been to dealer got myself a reluctor ring( this is the one that it’s sending signal to abs sensor) and after 8 hours of work i fixed the car! Problem that I noticed on that ring it was split apart. Thanks and hope this will help others!
