Since MB stopped making mudflaps for our W211 cars years ago, has anyone tried the "Universal Rubber Molded" type I see on Euro eBay?

I'm just looking for the front mudflaps on our pre-face lift E500 wagon. I understand that they may not fit as well as the factory mud flaps, but the ones from MB are made of Ubtainium and it looks like no one has made exact replacement mud flaps either. Hard to believe with over 1,500,000 E W211's produced. If you know a source for the front mud flaps or a part number that crosses and is still available please let me know. Thanks
