RH Mirror Not Looking Down In Reverse?
Amazing crazy German engineering... If your RH mirror sometimes looks downward when backing up & sometimes doesn't, AND you're sure you have memorized the "look down" position...
...look at the electric mirror adjustment switches. I have found that you must leave the toggle switch that selects whether you will be adjusting the Right or Left mirror, with the right hand (USA curb side mirror) pressed in.
In other words, if you feel you need to adjust the drivers side mirror while you are driving & leave the switch for the drivers side pressed in, the next time you back up the curb side mirror will NOT look down. If you are in reverse & the mirror diidn't look down, press IN the RH curb side mirror & it will immediately look down!

Yes... The Passengers side mirror adjustment must be pushed in for this feature to work.... Guess it was cheaper than giving us an on and off switch to control it.....

also do not forget about key dependency settings, many times this has been the problem, setting key dependency to on results in only one key, the key you are using at the time of setting, memorizing your pre-set features.

Seems to me (IMHO) the on /off switch is the mirror adj switch you leave depressed on the right mirror. I an not sure I would have wanted another switch on the door to activate. I just wish this feature worked on the left mirror also for me.
