'05 E500 4-Matic Wagon

Sirius on E500 Wagon

Anyone know where the Sirius antenna is mounted on a wagon? Any suggestions I should give the dealer before he installs it?

The dealer should have installation instructions if the car was built prewired...because the antenna connector is buried right where he is supposed to look.

The antenna gets mounted on the roof of the wagon, near the rear.

Instructions I would give dealer: "Please read installation bulletin thoroughly before beginning work!"

(Bulletin is P-I-82.60/308a)

The bulletins do have some erroneous information in them, such as "minimum bend radius for MOST fibres is 25mm" which is not true, that is the spec for D2B fibres.
