'07 E550 4Matic - Does my car have bluetooth?

Hello Everyone,

I'm a new owner of a 2007 Mercedes E550 4Matic. I have the phone button but it doesn't seem to do anything. I was searching online and everyone speaks about getting the bluetooth puck, but I can't seem to find where it would go. The centre console has no slot for it. Can someone help please?

What's the VIN number? You need the option that says wired for bluetooth and you'd have the connector in the back of the center console for the puck above, although the one above is the 2nd generation and there's a 3rd generation one that is brown. If you don't have the connector, chances are it isn't wired for bluetooth and you're basically stuck. They all had that phone button whether they were wired for bluetooth or not.

Where can I check my VIN to see? It looks like mine was not wired for it

Enter VIN here: https://www.datamb.com/ data card should show code 389 “MOBILE PRE-INSTALLATION (MTUS) USA/CANADA COMPL.” and include contact plate inside center console. Next purchase/install BT puck BB67875878 or current (newer) B67876131.
