Fan Running on High Speed
Hello all. I recently replaced the thermostat on my 2006 E350 4Matic due to a trouble code stating that the coolant temp was not warming up quickly enough (it stayed around 80 C). After replacing the thermostat, the temperature is at about 90 C, but when the coolant gets to this temp, my fan runs on high speed. I drained the coolant and refilled the system under vaccum to make sure there were no air pockets but this did not rectify the problem. I replaced no other parts except the thermostat and housing (one piece) , which includes a pressed in two - prong sensor. Can anyone tell me what is going on?
